前言
　　冤罪殺機可以說是讓筆者再一次體會到刺客快感的遊戲，當年在上市時強碰了年度遊戲刺客教條3，不過強大的可玩性與引人入勝的故事觀、設定還是把筆者的注意力定在了這款遊戲上。

　　本曲是Daniel Licht為遊戲量身打造的片尾曲，基本上本系列至今包含2代為止的所有音樂也都交由他一手打造，也就是這樣懸疑又帶有一絲驚悚的音樂風格，才打造得出這個蒸氣龐克風的世界。

　　在這裡稍微小提一下遊戲大綱，故事背景發生在一個以捕魚為業、由眾多小島嶼組成的島國，在國內頂尖的科學家研發出如何使用鯨魚油做為動力來源後，其科技與經濟大幅起飛，進入黃金年代。然而，有一天國內卻開始發生人鼠共通的瘟疫，找不到解決方法的女皇只好派遣手下最信任的皇家護衛前去鄰國交涉，而就在護衛回國向女皇報告壞消息之際，一群刺客突然闖入，挾著人數優勢刺殺女皇並擄走公主後消失，應女皇要求而單獨在瞭望台上的皇家護衛則成了代罪羔羊，背負著不屬於他的冤罪開始了這個故事。
