本曲來自筆者小時候很喜歡的一部名叫泰山的電影，是用在泰山從男孩轉變為成人片段的插入曲。當年很多單親或父母雙亡的孩子都受到這部電影很大的鼓舞，看泰山在飽受歧視與孤獨的環境中奮勇求生，從孤單自卑到終於被視為親父的猩猩領袖認可的過程，讓不少人都把自己的身影投射在泰山身上，希望變得像他一樣威猛勇敢。儘管已經過了二十個年頭，但現在回頭再去看泰山，給人的感動歷久彌新。
